Deciding on the genre of my music magazine

The Genre:

Before I start to research about my music magazine and genre, I knew I would need to choose a genre of music that my magazine would cover. 

Ideas of genres:

• Classical Music
• Blues Music
• Jazz Music

Final Decision:

I have decided that the genre of my magazine will be Classical Music.

VIDEO MISTAKE: Ignore the 'By Linda and Trevor Gill' at the end of the video (I tried to change it to my name as the iMovie account is my family's and it wouldn't change unfortunately).

Group Work: Looking at the front cover of a music Magazine

The Task: Front Cover analysis

Daniel and I looked at the front cover of Q MAGAZINE. This was to get an idea of what a general music magazine front cover looked like and how the magazine owners wanted the magazine to look (including their house-style). 

We also tried to figure out the type, audience, purpose and the effectiveness of the magazine front cover.
