First Drafts:

Front Cover:



This is my first draft. I like how the photo looks and the layout of all the writing and the Name of the magazine. However, I think I could change the FONT COLOURING, as you cannot see some of the writing clearly.


Contents Page:


This is my first draft. I like how the photos look, the Font and the colouring. However, I think I could change GROUP 4's Background, the FONT SIZES (Maybe?), the captions and 'Contents' to Capital Letters.


Double Page Spread:

Making the first draft of my Music Magazine: DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD



Evidencing Step by Step: (Screen shots)

First, I added the third lines to the double page spread.
Second, I added the title (pulled quote) of the article.

Third, I added the first column of my article. 

Fourth, I added the second column of my article.

Fifth, I added the third column of my article.

Sixth, I added in the first album cover.

Seventh, I changed round the article a bit and placed the first
album cover after the first question.

Eighth, I added in the second album cover after the second question.


Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh, I added in the three final album covers after the
Third, fourth and fifth questions.

Twelfth, I added in the photograph of Poppy.

Thirteenth, I cropped the photo.

Fourteenth, I cropped the photo a little more.

Fifteenth, I used the LASSO TOOL (Poly and Magnetic)
to go around Poppy.

Sixteenth, I used the BRUSH TOOL to make sure the edges
to the photo are smooth and not spiky. 

Seventeenth, I continued to use the BRUSH TOOL.

Eighteenth, I used the BRUSH TOOL all the way round the
photo.

Nineteenth, I used the 'ENTER' key to be able to make
the text go around Poppy's knee.

Twentieth, I added in the photo of Anbu.

Twenty-First, I cropped the photo.

Twenty-Second, I cropped the photo
again.

Twenty-Third, I used the LASSO TOOL
to go around Anbu.
Twenty-Fourth, I used the BRUSH TOOL to use a Layer Mask to
replace the background.

Twenty-Fifth, I moved the text around Anbu's knee.

Making the first draft of my Music Magazine: CONTENTS PAGE

Evidencing Step by Step: (Screen shots)

First, I added the THIRD LINES and wrote in the word 'Contents'.

Second, I wrote in the first line of articles in the first left third with the
article titles in red and the article explanations in black.

Third,  I wrote in the second line of articles in the second middle third.

Fourth, I wrote in the third line of articles in the third right third.

Fifth, I added in the NAME of the magazine next to 'Contents' on both sides.

Sixth, I added in the portrait photograph.

Seventh, I placed and re-sized the photograph to fit in the correct place.

Eighth, I placed and resized the first landscape photo of Group 3
to fit in the correct place.

Ninth,  I placed and resized the second landscape photo of Group 4 
to fit in the correct place.

Tenth, I deleted the two 'Classic Ensemble' name's from beside
the 'Contents' as it started to look crowded. Then I added captions
to each of the photographs to link them to the articles.

Making the first draft of my Music Magazine: FRONT COVER

Evidencing Step by Step: (Screen shots)

First, I added in the name of the magazine that I had made previously.

Second, I wrote in the USP (Unique Selling Point).

Third, I wrote in the sub-articles.

Fourth, I added in the THIRDS LINES to help me establish where the place things.
I also added two other sub-articles and changed the colour of the article titles.

Fifth, I added in a picture of a BARCODE.

Sixth, I wrote in an INDUCEMENT, an ISSUE NUMBER, MONTH of RELEASE and PRICE.

Seventh, I wrote in the main article and Cover Line.
Eighth, I added the chosen Photograph for the front cover.

Ninth, I resized the photograph to fit the A4 Page.

Tenth, I moved the Photograph LAYER to the bottom, just above
the Background one.

Eleventh, I filled in the Name of the magazine a White colour,
in order for it to stand out.

Twelfth, I changed the font colours.

Thirteenth, I changed the rest of the font colours.
